We take it as our mission to bring a holistic running experience to everyone – from those who have little experience in running, to those who aim to get to the marathon stage.
Starting this week you can register for races, marathons and ultra marathons through the FirstRun app. All you need to do is update to the latest version or wait for our link to update your app. Once done, head over to the Events section and easily book your spot at marathons. We are beginning with the Goa River Marathon, one of the most picturesque running events in the country, and one of National Geographic’s 10 best marathons in India.
Within the new Events feature, you can check details of each category at GRM, the registration fees and the routes for each category.
With FirstRun you can take the first steps by training for 5Ks and 10Ks, and we also have a running store so you could get the right gear to start off. We followed it up with RunDoctor, an affordable on-demand solution for injury prevention and management.
The logical next step was to give our runners the chance to prove their mettle – and FirstRun’s calibre – in competitive running events.
The Goa River Marathon, in its 6th year, and registrations for the 2015 edition are currently ongoing. The marathon which is run alongside the famed Zuari river, is scheduled for December 13, and registrations close on December 10, 2015.
