The American ultramarathoner is a practising vegan, an amateur chef, and a bestselling author and public speaker, who’s broken records in world-famous races such as the Badwater Ultramarathon, Hardrock Hundred, and Spartathlon. Professional trail runner, globetrotter, and shutterbug Rickey Gates shares breathtaking images and stories from expeditions on his blog, Instagram and Twitter feeds. The nomadic athlete, who has raced in several unbelievable trails across the Grand Canyon, Norway, Antarctica, and Central Mexico, documents both his runs and travel tales engagingly and with a dash of humour.
Naresh Kumar moved to the USA in 2010 and discovered trail running soon after. A software engineer in California by profession, he’s been a barefoot runner in several ultramarathons across the globe, as well as a biker, skydiver, mountaineer, and surfer in his ‘free’ time.
