Actress Gal Gadot doesn’t cease to amaze us with her strength and boldness. Not only is she the bad-guy fighting Wonder Woman but she also served in the Israeli army after winning the Miss Israel title in 2004 at the age of 18 years. Now 32, Gadot is partnering with Reebok as a brand ambassador to champion the brand’s “Be More Human” campaign. This campaign was launched in 2015 to help change the way people perceive and undertake fitness and to promote the idea that fitness unlocks a better version of ourselves.
According to Health magazine, Todd Krinsky, GM of Performance Business Unit at Reebok said, “We look to partner with women who instill confidence in all generations to take risks and those who keep pushing, all while making a positive difference in the world.” In a press release for Reebok, he went on to say, “Gadot’s relentless spirit and natural leadership have already captivated and inspired millions and we believe that this is just the starting point. Through fitness, we know that we have the power to change lives and we are elated to have such a powerhouse in our corner to tell this story with.”
Gadot too couldn’t hold her excitement when it came to rep the brand. She quickly took to Instagram to show off how pumped she was with her partnership. “Working out has always been an integral part of my life, especially with having a mother who was a P.E. teacher, I was exposed to an active lifestyle from an early age,” Gadot said in the press release. “Through fitness, I have found that I gain strength, endurance, and confidence, and I couldn’t imagine a better partner than Reebok to join me on this journey.”
The Reebok website continues to showcase Gadot’s enthusiasm where she made a statement saying, “I was lucky enough to grow up with a mother who was a gym teacher, so the importance of having someone push me out of my comfort zone and being active – and the benefits of it – were ingrained in me as a young girl.” .
Over the last year, actress Gadot has emerged as a worldwide symbol of confidence, defiant courage, and strength. A sports and fitness brand such as Reebok considers her to be a perfect fit because they share a similar quest: To help women discover their inner strength and aim to inspire women and future generations to embrace fitness as a way to become the best version of them themselves – physically, mentally, and socially.
