Sometimes you only have enough time to throw together a toast and some spread before heading out or setting up for your workout. The good news is that’s all the time you need to get a breakfast that’s not just toast and butter.
We wanted to spice up your quickie brekkie so this recipe not only sounds delicious but tastes amazing and only requires 6-7 minutes to make. On days when you just don’t have time for an elaborate breakfast, this is a godsend. Light on the belly, you can take off on your run or start your workout within 30-40 minutes after eating this.
What you will need:
How to make it
If you like your eggs boiled, set it first before starting with the bread. If not, toast the bread and while it toasts, fry an egg in a pan with little to no oil/butter. That’s much quicker than a boiled or poached egg.
Get thin slices of the avocado, and repeat that with the tomato. Layer them directly on the toast, and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Top with the egg. If boiled, it’s ideal to get them sliced up. Add some hot sauce or not, depending on your palate.
This is quite a breakfast and it took you no time to rustle it up. Bookmark it for the next time you have only 5 minutes to dine and dash!
